People who voluntarily share their time, skills and efforts since the first days of operation of the Bulgarian Food Bank provide valuable support for the transformation of surplus food into a resource for various social programs.
A very large volume of food has been sorted with voluntary work and over the years many thousands of food packages have been prepared for people in need, such as those affected by the flood in Mizia, the flood in Asparuhovo and the railway accident in Khitrino.
The Kilogram of Kindness food drive, collecting food with a longer shelf life, is the campaign for the people in need, carried almost entirely by volunteers.
If you are interested to support our work as a volunteer, please talk to us on +359 876 406 703 or write to partners@bgfoodbank.org.
